Absolutely brutal service in the Auto Parts desk. Bought 2 pair of tire chains, walked out the door, came back literally 3 minutes later as I noticed one was wrong size even though I did give the correct size to her, very rudely the woman said "Can't do anything I told you no returns" explained nicely I just left and she threw what was in her hand on the counter towards me and said with a loud rude voice "I said no returns." In the bitchiest voice possible she yelled "7", I said what? she said 7. My wife said I think she's telling you to go to till 7. She was the worse service person I have ever come across. When I was buying the chains she had to answer the phone twice and both times complained out loud about them and instead of putting them on hold, held the phone about a foot off the counter and dropped it so it would bang in their ear. When I spoke to the manger he did do the return and when I told him he sheepishly held his head down; didn't ask which of the women it was; he obviously knew. I have spent a lot of money in this dept and now have successfully deterred others I know from spending their money here. I don't care how bad your day or night was, there is no excuse for this woman's (girls) attitude towards customers.

Assuming \I could fit that into my SUV i drove there. The unit was fully assembled, way big, no way I could fit that into my SUV. I had to go back home to get my trailer, cost me 45 minutes I will never get back. On top of that it was the bare unit, no handbook, no tools, no warranty card ... The unit was put curbside by a young employee who looked pissed off, almost like he hates his job. He parked the chipper curbside and then wanted to walk away. His energy was the one of a person who doesn't want to be there. I involved a supervisor to share that my purchase experience is not great and asked for the handbook, and tools and warranty cards that should come with the product. She was also not really giving a damn, and fatigued and lethargic offered my free shipping at this point. I ended up getting everything that came in the box from the manufacturer and i load it onto my trailer and drove it home. I am sure the Management could improve employee performance within a very short time by taking the right steps here, as there is a lot of room to improve.

When I was at the checkout the item I wanted came up way higher than on the shelf. I sent the staff to check and they said it was put in the wrong location. I said thats not my fault and I want that other price. They said no and didn't give two stud's about getting a manager or helping. I didn't know Canadian tire was about crappy service and no organizational skills. Very Disappointing...

I ordered a wood chipper online, and got an email that my order is ready for pickup. In all emails from Canadian Tire, as well as the website I ordered from it said the product dimensions are "29.724 L x 25.2 W x 41.339" H lb in (per item)"

Called to confirm that store had stock, they told me that they did. Refused to hold for me, so I asked if I could do an order online and pay right then and there and have them put the two items aside for me. They told me yep no problem, they’ll be there waiting for me. Drove from Coquitlam to mission (1hr) to be told “no we cancelled your order due to us not having the item, you’ll get an email”. No email received this is now 2hrs later. No refund issued... still. And Zero support from staff. Go to Abbotsford or MR location instead.

I get the feeling that a lot of the other reviewers are falling into the national habit to beat up on Cdn Tire. My experiences in this store have always been respectful, friendly, and helpful. Would have gone to five stars if it wasn't for the mechanic shop. Got new tires and felt they were poorly balanced - they corrected months later no charge (however left tire pressure monitoring not set up properly).
