  The vegetable selection varies but I've noticed not as good as it once was. The meat selection is better than SuperStore and Walmart with less 'hidden' fat when you open your cello wrap than SuperStore. The bulk selection is better in quality than SuperStore and offers more. Walmart has none. Large selection in deli and good selection of reasonably priced jewelry. Staff is generally helpful and always friendly.

  In Mission, most chain grocery stores are similar so to rate different grocery stores, something special has to stand out.

  Good for unusual produce and health foods but the checkout staff are poorly trained and don't know their produce. One gal told me she only knows normal vegetables like bananas and oranges. Yup, actually said that

  Save On Foods has really great helpful staff who are always happy to help customers! The produce and meat selection can be a bit hit and miss... they do not always have what they advertise in the flyer available in stock in the store.

  I'm giving only 3 stars because most items are more expebsive (sometimes a lot more) than SuperStore and Walmart. I buy most of my bulk items there (spices are always fresh) but other items only when they're on sale.

  Big store, a fair selection. Some great deals to be had, other things are priced much higher than other stores. Nice deli and fair selection of produce. Not my favorite grocery store but not my least favorite either.
