Quiet simple park featuring picnic tables, a picnic shelter, lake access via a pebble beach, nature trail and flush toilets. If you bring a cake or kayak to use in the lake, be prepared for a long walk from the parking lot to the lake. A hidden gem.

Quiet and peaceful place. It's on a hill with a big set of stairs. As a kid I loved rolling down it, and now So does my niece. So, if you can't really do much physical activity I wouldn't go down to the bottom of the hill. The view is beautiful, and many local churches host their baptisms here. The water access is limited, definitely more for a casual swim rather than a serious work out.

This is my favorite place...for me time...I lived just above it for a while.it became part of my daily routine.Just the greatest.although this year there was a lot of black bears.and I mean alot we had to chase them out of our yard daily .2 big females and both with 3 cubs about a year old.so be careful the brook area is a place to stay away from....
