So they fill it and this new guy rings it in and tells me that it's going to cost me $23.00 and I said WHAT? it never cost me money, it's supposed to be covered under my disability like it always is.. NEVER have I had to pay anything for it. The Symbicort I mentioned above was covered and it costs $108.00... so why is it I have to pay for the Salbutamol all of a sudden? They were wrong it doesn't cost money... it was the new guys fault for ringing it in the way he did... obviously he forgot something.. so while he was over discussing this with his associate I took the salbutamol he had left with me. So I am left standing there having my time wasted even more so I just walked out telling them, thanks as I left. That was yesterday.

Great pharmacists, extremely rude and inconsiderate assistants epically if you do not understand what they are yelling at you

This morning I get a call from The Mission RCMP... apparently Safeway Pharmacy has called the police on me for $23.00 that I have never paid for medication I have always got covered through my disability. The Police officer told me that I was going to be arrested if I didn't go in and pay it... I told the officer that this is a threat at best... I'm now being threatened to go back to Safeway and pay the 23.00 fee.. REALLY I Said... I was pissed and that I will go to the papers and the news and spread this everywhere to let everyone know just how incompetent they are.

The drugs in Question are for inhalers, one is Salbutamol and the other is for Symbicort: Salbutamol is for immediate assistance for COPD and Asthma and the Symbiort is a preventative anti inflamitory by no means is it an immediate help like that of Salbutamol.

I went in in person and ordered the Salbutamol... and Symbicort.. but they said I had run out.. I asked them to fax my doctor and they said they don't do that because my doctor doesn't allow refill requests by fax... I said.. they do for me.. as my doctor told me he would never deny a fax for inhalers ... I was quite choked and went straight to my doctors office and brought it to their attention... they looked on their computer and realized that Safeway pharmacy from Mission has not done a fax request for me since December 8th last year... WHAT?... so they LIED TO ME!!!!... that's right folks... this Safeway Pharmacy will LIE right to your face.... So I got a new scrip filled and went straight back to Safeway Pharmacy and I asked who it was that said they did the fax refill and I was told that they phoned... ummm why would they phone when it's a fax I asked them to do? not to mention the reception at my doctors office told me they were not contacted... period.

This last time I had issues with Safeway... they said I had run out of refills for Salbutamol but I did get a refill for the Symbicort cost: 108.00 covered under my disability... Salbutamol is much cheaper in cost.... I say this because this plays a role in this issue I had with them for the last time. Because I have decided to take my business elsewhere... this was the last straw.... read on... and you too will see why....
